Sermon Flow now supports an integration with Vimeo where you can drop a link to your Vimeo video in Sermon Flow instead of uploading the video file directly.
For this integration to work, you need to have a standard plan or higher on Vimeo.
Problem
In talking with early beta users, many churches have an established workflow in place for how they compile videos. In the case of medium size churches, websites like Vimeo and YouTube become the easiest way to access the video content across teams.
Instead of making users download and re-upload a video to Sermon Flow, we want them to just paste a Vimeo link, and let the platform do the work for them.
Solution
We now support connecting your Vimeo account to Sermon Flow, and dropping in links to Vimeo videos.
Go to Vimeo, select your video, and click "Share".
Toggle "Downloads" on, and copy the link. A standard plan is required from Vimeo to toggle on "Downloads".
Go to Sermon Flow's upload page, and select Import from Vimeo. The first time you do this, you will be prompted to connect your Vimeo account.
You will be redirected to Vimeo to approve connecting your account with Sermon Flow.
You can then paste in your Vimeo URL, add your Sermon title and description, and proceed with scrolling down to upload your sermon into Sermon Flow.
At any time you can disconnect Sermon Flow from Vimeo in the settings tab.
Who is this useful for?
- Churches who use Vimeo on the standard plan or higher.
- Churches who want to save time and avoid downloading and re-uploading.
