Release: Automated Video Import from Vimeo

Trigger Sermon Flow immediately after uploading or updating a video to Vimeo.

As an expansion of Sermon Flow's integration to Vimeo, users can now configure Sermon Flow to automatically import and process videos from their linked Vimeo account. You will log onto Sermon Flow, and see your sermon is already processed and waiting for you.

For this integration to work, you need to have a standard plan or higher on Vimeo.

Problem

A common problem with many AI video workflows is you upload a video, and then...wait. For Sermon Flow, it can take 10\~ minutes for larger sermons to be processed. In speaking with a beta customer recently, that hurry up and wait slows down the workflow.

We want to make it so that when you log onto Sermon Flow, you can jump straight into the work. No waiting around for uploads to process.

Solution

For users who have linked their Vimeo account (process described here), you can configure your Sermon Flow account to listen to Vimeo and automatically import videos based on how they are tagged in Vimeo.

Log into Sermon Flow, go to Settings, and scroll down to Vimeo Integrations. Check "Enable auto-import". Add a comma separated list of Vimeo tags Sermon Flow should listen for. Vimeo will only import videos with one or more of these tags. You can specify a default speaker to assign to these videos if you like.

Go to Vimeo and either (1) add one of your tags to an existing video or (2) upload and tag a new video. Sermon Flow will detect videos when you edit an existing one or when a new one is transcoded.

Within a few minutes, Sermon Flow should pick up the new video and beginning automatically importing it and running the workflow.

When the sermon is done processing, the user will receive an email that their most recent video is ready for them.

Who is this useful for?

* Churches who use Vimeo on the standard plan or higher.
